Hey there, my name is Taylor Karas.

I am consistently striving to discover MY true health and lifestyle choices that best support the life I hope to have. I believe that when it comes to diet and lifestyle we need discipline, flexibility, reliability, and joy - and that results in each and every person to have a very individual way of experiencing healthy living. 

However, the one thing I believe we all have in common is the desire to be better. We all want to achieve our best selves in every way possible, and I fundamentally believe that the choices we make each and every day (especially the little ones) can lead us to our best self. 

I began exploring health and wellness when I began experiencing severe gut issues and anxiety at the age of 15. I was always uncomfortable, bloated, stressed, and looking for answers. The internet was both a blessing and a curse in that it opened my eyes to many natural remedies and practices that helped me feel better, but also led me into a spiral of comparison and low self-esteem. 

I know exactly what it is like to scroll through your phone and see endless people with the results you want, and to desperately want the truth on how to achieve them. I was directly in the cycle of trying various diets, not seeing results, and then being flooded with guilt. One day I woke up and realized that all I was doing was trying to be someone else, someone I didn’t even know. I learned that the only way I would to find true health would be to let go of what I thought I needed to be, and accept exactly who I was. 

Since then, every decision I have made in regards to my diet and lifestyle have been my own. Through research, education, and trial and error I have found what works for me. What makes me feel my best. Ultimately leading me to discover that it’s not just about what we eat, or do at the gym, it’s about our mental and emotional outlook. What good is all of the good food we consume if we aren’t backing it with self-love and confidence? 

This blog is all about living a healthy lifestyle. I will be sharing delicious recipes, lifestyle tips, and mental health info that will inspire you to live a healthier and happier life. My hope is that this becomes a space of positivity and support for those seeking balance in their life. #goodvibesonly

It can be really overwhelming to start living a healthy lifestyle (trust me, I’ve been there, and heck, I’m still learning everyday), and at times can feel really isolating. But, if I can be that person in your life that tells you: “you can do this” while the rest of the world seems to provoke doubt. Then I will consider my job done.
